The book I read today was called Earthquake, it's about how a family in Christchurch was experiencing an earthquake. The earthquake was so bad that it caused the power and water to stop working. The family had a big crack through the house that made it hard for them to enter through the door so they had to enter through the window and their backyard was filled with sand and mud.
I explored 2048 and found it really interesting and fun. Two wonderful aspects of this math game I enjoyed are that sometimes it can get challenging and that you need to add the numbers together to make the number 2048 or just may go over. A skill you can develop while using 2048 is getting to learn your addition and subtraction and you may also become a little competitive. 2048 game
Todays maths was fun but I couldn't really foucuse with the sound playing in the background today i only scored 180 for rounding and 340 for mutiplations.

Todays maths was really fun and confussing at the same time. I learnt about powers and also played a math game called 99maths.
I positioned myself nervously into the go cart ready to start my adventure. As I held tightly onto the handle and pulled it back. It sure was scary but fun at the same time I had to go through tracks that looked like real roads . It had many trees that were as tall as a giraffe and little to no flowers. The ground was filled with dead leaves that had fallen off the branches as well as green bright grass that looked as if they had been painted with green paint.
The whole track looked like a forest. While I was riding It felt as if I was driving a motorcycle. Since I was the first one to go, following behind was my family so I was pretty confident I will make it to the end first. I drove past people who were bleeding. I Immediately knew that it was from the go cart since the owner had told me to be careful. I started to drive safely down the tracks; well I thought I was.
I looked behind me and saw that my family was almost catching up to me. I took an irresponsible turn and pulled the Handle of the go cart far back, making me go fast. I looked back at them and laughed, not knowing that I was about to enter the tunnel. I immediately turned forward as I had seen nothing but darkness. I couldn't see where the handle was placed since the only light shining was at the end of the tunnel.
I went super fast through the tunnel not realizing the next thing I was about to experience. I finally got out of the tunnel safely, having the sunlight shine and letting me get a grip of the go cart handle. I managed to slow it down but I still couldn’t control it. I accidentally crashed into the cones and later on found myself laying on the side of the track not even making it to the end.
I never gave up and still drove like nothing happened. I finally made it to the end and without knowing there were hidden cameras that took photos of people's reaction. I took one look at the photos and laughed my way out of the skyline.
